CSW State Representative Under Sensei Erik Paulson

Combat Submission Wrestling, also known as CSW, is the brainchild of Sensei Erik Paulson, world-renowned martial artist, fighter, and teacher. The art of CSW is a mix of many different martial arts from around the world including, but not limited to, Judo, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sambo, Greco Roman Wrestling, Shooto, Catch Wrestling, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Savate, Kali, and Silat.  

Coach Will Bernales offers classes at BIMA for beginning and advanced students of CSW. With multiple student levels, the CSW program at BIMA combines the basics of no-gi grappling and striking with more advanced techniques and training drills.

Sensei Paulson began CSW, his own no-gi system, after retiring from competition. Coach Bernales has been under Sensei Paulson since the founding of CSW, and he is honored to continue spreading knowledge of CSW across the Salt Lake Valley.
